On June 5-6, 2023, group members attended INQ’s Northern Days 2023 in Trois-Rivières, Canada. Zhikun Chen and Zhaonian Qu made the poster presentations entitled “Entrainment of Microplastics in Ice: Implications for the Transport of Microplastics in Northern Regions” and “An Experimental and Modeling Study on the Penetration of Spilled Oil into Thawing Frozen Soil”, respectively. They also discussed the research and collaboration with other event participants.
