He Peng and Xuelin Tian were recently awarded FRQNT-B2X Bourses de doctorat en recherche. The objectives of the FRQNT scholarships are to contribute to ensuring the next generation of scientists working in various research environments in the fields of natural sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering; stimulate the interest of the next generation of students in research; and support research excellence by financially assisting the best candidates to undertake or continue a doctoral research program.
