Xuelin Tian presented her study to the Ministry of Environment of Government of Saskatchewan

In the afternoon of June 23, 2022, Dr. An and Xuelin Tian had a virtual meeting with the Ministry of Environment of Government of Saskatchewan. Xuelin made the presentation entitled “Assessment of Air Pollution and Carbon Emission from Urban Transportation in Regina”. They also discussed the evolution patterns of Regina’s private vehicles and emissions with other meeting participants.

On June 5-7, 2022, group members attended the 6th International Conference of Recent Trends in Environmental Science and Engineering (RTESE’22). Dr. An delivered a keynote speech entitled “Shoreline Washing Agents for Oil Spill Response”. Qi Feng, Zheng Wang, Zhikun Chen, and Xuelin Tian made the presentations entitled “Assessment of Coastal Sensitivity to Oil Spill Based on Ecosystem Services Valuation”, “Dispersion of Particulate Matter from Oil Spill Response in the Arctic Region”, “Assessment of the End-of-life Alternatives for Post-consumer Waste Asphalt Shingle”, and “Change of NO2 Emissions from Canadian Thermal Power Plants”, respectively. They also discussed the research and collaboration with other conference participants.
