On January 16-18, 2025, Shuyan Wan attended the 12th Biennial Emergy Research Conference, Emergy Synthesis 12, held at the University of Florida in Gainesville, USA. Shuyan delivered a presentation titled “Enhancing Urban Sustainability: An Emergy-Based Framework to Support Green Infrastructure Planning”. He engaged in in-depth discussions with experts in the emergy field and other participants, exploring methodologies and potential applications of emergy analysis (EMA). Furthermore, he exchanged insights on addressing common boundary issues in EMA.
