Session on microplastics and nanoplastics at CSChE 2025
The session “Environmental Fate and Impacts of Microplastics, Nanoplastics and Other Nanomaterials Contaminants” will be held at the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference (CSChE 2025), October 5-8, 2025 in Montreal, Canada. Microplastics, nanoplastics, and engineered nanomaterials are increasingly detected in air, water, soil, and biota, raising concerns about their long-term environmental and human health impacts. This session explores recent research on the sources, transport, transformation, and ecological effects of these materials. We also invite submissions discussing regulatory challenges, mitigation strategies, and innovative technologies for detecting and reducing their presence in the environment.
