In the morning of December 11, 2024, Mr. Zhikun Chen successfully passed his PhD thesis defence. The title of his thesis is “Microplastic Entrainment in Ice Formations and Their Electrochemical Removal from Water”. His profound knowledge and excellent presentation helped him win a good evaluation from the external examiner, Dr. Hui Peng, and other examining committee members (Drs. Xianming Zhang, Fuzhan Nasiri, Zhi Chen, Maria Elektorowicz, and Chunjiang An).
