In the morning of November 6, 2024, Ms. Xiyu Xu successfully passed her PhD research proposal exam. The title of her proposal is “Release of microplastics from synthetic textile waste into the aquatic environment”. Her profound knowledge and excellent presentation helped her win a good evaluation from the external examiner, Dr. Sixu Deng, and other examining committee members (Drs. Catherine Mulligan, Biao Li, Zhi Chen, and Chunjiang An).
